Valladolid Yucatán
Your mission begins in the Magical Town of Valladolid, from the historic center of the city head along 41st Street, approximately 9 blocks after passing the Military Base, you will reach the last avenue of the city.

This street will eventually join the MEX 180 highway, following the signs to Cancun on the free highway, an avenue, a gas station and a GoMart will indicate that you are leaving the city of Valladolid, heading to the first town of your journey, Ticuch.

You must be very attentive, because after traveling 8 kilometers, you will reach the town of Ticuch. Continue along the main street and it will guide you to your destination.

Once in the village you must continue your journey for 1 kilometre more until you find yourself at the exit of the village, with a police checkpoint. This reference point will indicate that you must turn left, entering the 11 km path towards Yalcoba.

As you advance, the first 8 km and after passing some small towns, a peculiar curved bridge will confirm that you are on the right path.

When you arrive at Yalcoba, pay attention when you reach the last bump before crossing the town's central park, here you will have 2 options.

  • Option 1 – At the corner of the mini-supermarket, turn right towards Calle 9 and at the next corner, turn left and continue along this road as you leave the town for 6 kilometers. A road will open in front of you. You will find signs indicating that the road takes you to the town of “Xtut”, this indicates that you are on the right path.

  • Option 2 – cross the mini-supermarket and arrive in front of the municipal palace, where you will find the walls of the church and some signs, to turn right around the municipal palace, reach the corner and turn left on the way to the town of Xtut.

Stay alert, after passing the town of Yalcoba, because Zazil Tunich is located in this last stretch at km 6, it is a rural road where you can meet the Mayan villagers coming and going from their ranches on their bicycles and motorcycles, you must be careful in this last stretch, remember that you will not find signs for Zazil Tunich until you have arrived, because only those who have reservations arrive and with the aim of making the experience more exclusive.
