What are the times of the tours?
The facilities are open from 11am, but you can only experience the tour at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm, before that it is without a guide and the price is the same.

Of course, contact us directly, tell us about your idea to make it come true, we already have pre-made packages, but everything can be tailor-made.
Do you have accommodation?
We currently have some very traditional cabins exclusively for 2 people, with a bed in the air, a beautiful hand painted mural of birds of the region, bathroom without door and hot water, for more connection, in the cabins there is no wifi, but if we have in common areas.
When staying in the cabins you have an included access between 9am to 11am, exclusive access for guests of the village.

We recommend that you always come as comfortable as possible, with light clothing, any type of shoe.
How can I book my visit?
How far are you from Valladolid, Merida and Cancun?
We are 25 minutes from downtown Valladolid, 2 hours from Cancun and 2 hours from Merida.
How safe is the road?
Can children experience it?
Of course, children can experience Zazil Tunich, the cenote is not very deep which makes it ideal for children to enjoy this experience safely.
It is very important to keep children supervised and calm so as not to affect the experience of other visitors on their tour.
What kinds of experiences do they have?
We have the basic product called ‘Mayan underworld’ which includes access, guided tour and swimming, this same experience can be complemented with a very traditional meal, either in a Mayan dining room or bonfire and the most special and that really can only be lived in Zazil Tunich are the meals inside the cenote 20 meters underground.
Among other types of products we have, weddings, engagement parties, anniversaries, retreats, accommodation, incentive trips for companies, food for large groups, these are handled separately as an exact quote is made according to the needs.
Is there a food option for vegans or vegetarians?
For vegans or vegetarians we have the option of chaya tamales, made with local corn dough, vegetable oil and freshly cut chaya leaves, accompanied by a tomato sauce that seals in the perfect flavour.

Can I rent the cenote exclusively?
Yes, it is possible to rent for a minimum of 2 hours up to 1 full day, contact us to tailor make your experience.
Is the cenote deep enough for night swimming?
The cenote is totally ideal for day or night access, as the bottom is firm and visible at all times, the deepest part of the cenote is currently 1.8m to 2m and on the shallower banks, this makes it ideal for appreciating the beauty of the site from the water or for ceremonies or water rituals.
