M\u00e1s adelante enfrentaron el Fr\u00edo Mortal, resistiendo temperaturas g\u00e9lidas que congelaban el aliento. En otro de los niveles, tuvieron que superar la Casa de los Murci\u00e9lagos, repleta de estos animales que amenazaban con devorarlos. Ixbalanqu\u00e9 ide\u00f3 entonces el plan de soltar sus cerbatanas al aire, para que los murci\u00e9lagos se enredaran y permitieran su paso.
