Description
The Mayan Underworld experience is a personalized guided tour that includes the Mayan Ceremony for free from Wednesday to Sunday.
In this experience you will be able to enjoy a guided tour through a place full of history, where great events of the Mayan culture occurred where the stones tell their story, you will learn part of the Mayan Mythology through the Legend of Xibalbá and its 9 levels to the Underworld Maya in the company of our guide, at level 7, you will be part of a Mayan Purification Ceremony with a Xaman from the region, and then go down the eighth and ninth levels of the Mayan Underworld, in which, now with a purified body, you will be able to immerse yourself. in crystal clear waters of a sacred cenote.
On the journey to the Mayan underworld you will experience:
- Guided tour with a group limited to 20 people
- Mayan ceremony. (Not available now).
- Swim in cenote
- If transportation is required, the departure is from the city of Valladolid
For this guided tour, it is necessary to wear comfortable clothing, sandals or comfortable shoes that allow you to walk along the paths inside the cave. The descent is accessible and comfortable, made with platforms and steps with a maximum height of 18cm, which makes a smooth, easy route for older adults.
